“YNTSKY” Scheduled to Premiere September 2011

After years of post-production delays, it looks like Michael A. Pinckney‘s independent hip hop thriller, “You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Kills You” is finally getting released. We’re working very closely with Michael and his distribution partner, Locomotive Distribution, to bring you the inside stories behind the making of this film and its release.

Currently the film is scheduled to premiere in September 2011. We hope to have much more to post in the upcoming weeks, but here’s a final cast sheet and synopsis. Check out who the Executive Producer is!

Synopsis: You’re Nobody ‘til Somebody Kills You is an action packed hip hop horror from Executive Producer Spike Lee. It’s the gritty story of two New York City homicide detectives that are forced into the high-stakes world of the hip hop music business. A complex web of murder, sex, money and music unfolds as the homicide detectives track a serial killer with an appetite for some of hip hop’s biggest stars.
